The later series of the _OeS_ which I am more familiar with include detailed data on death rates down to the local district level for Austria, and many volumes include introductory essays that often comment on anomolies in the data presented. So, although I do not know if there is going to be any such commentary on the cholera outbreak of 1873, it is certainly possible that one might find it there. At the very least, the _OeS_ reports should provide the sort of data that will indicate where there were upticks in the deathrates for that year. I am not familiar with similar reports for the Hungarian half of the state. Mills Kelly Department of History Texas Tech University
