From: rhorky@neo.tamu.edu Subject: Eagles Eastward, Nason, and fiction Date: October 5, 2009 10:15:56 PM EDT To: H-WAR@H-NET.MSU.EDU Although it does not contain an entry for Eagles Eastward, the following website may still be of interest. For example, it lists a number of entries for Leonard H. Nason. The FictionMags Index <http://www.philsp.com/homeville/FMI/ 0start.htm#TOC> is a treasure trove, a catalogue of short fiction from the pre-war pulps, post-war men's magazines, and general interest magazines from the late nineteenth century on. I have used it for tracking down popular fiction about my research topics, to examine how the general public perceived my subjects. Note that as it is put together and researched by amateurs, it is not complete. Nonetheless, I can think of no comparable site.
