Greetings All, If any of you missed the original announcement I'm reposting so that you may mark your calendars. From 5-8 April,(this coming Monday through Thursday)H-War will host an e- colloquium on John Lynn's_Battle: A History of Combat and Culture from Ancient Greece to Modern America_ (Westview, 2003). The panel includes Stephen Badsey, recently of Sandhurst; Mark Grimsely, Ohio State; Wayne Lee from University of Louisville and Michael Ramsay, Kansas State University. The calendar for the discussion follows. 5 April: Posting of panelists' original comments. 6 April: Posting of panelists' responses to their fellows. 7-8 April: Discussion open to list members for their comments and questions. The comments of these gifted scholars on an important work should be not only thought-provoking, but entertaining, and will no doubt spark the wide- ranging and intelligent exchanges typical of H-War.
