Thanks for the good information, Dick. In the meantime I did a search in the archives of the New York Times and for $2.95 plus tax was able to read an article about the opening at the Grace Borgenicht Gallery Sept 1953. It says there were "18-30 inch squares" and then mentioned many of the participants: Father Mascolino Maas, Hans Moller, Andre Racz, Spivak, Ossorrio, Gottlieb, Rattner, Harmon, Ostuni, Murch, Ms. Pereria, Andre Gerard, Bourdelle and Nicolas (14 names mentioned) - and the reviewer absolutely did not like Rattner's piece. Helene Weis said she would look up the two Stained Glass Quarterly articles for me in which Rattner's name was mentioned. It seems the NY exhibition was the first where Rattner designed any stained glass, the Flint installation was second (Rambusch) and then the Chicago Loop Synagogue (fabricated in Paris). The Leepa-Rattner Museum people supplied two other designs that were submitted for the Flint window. So who were the rest of these people? Barbara Krueger Hartland, Michigan
