To all-

I am in the process of beginning my dissertation
research, concerning the formation and implementation
of religious policies of the Soviet military
authorities in the province of Berlin-Brandenburg from
1945 to 1949.

I am writing to ask if anyone knows whether the
records from the Soviet Military Administration
(Sovetskaia Voennaia administratsiia v Germanii, or
SVAG) are still available for researchers at the State
Archives of the Russian Federation(GARF), specifically
the records from the Propaganda Administration
(located in fond P-7317) and the Soviet Military
Administration in Brandenburg (located in fond
P-7077).  I am planning to begin my research in Moscow
in late July/early August
