Papago Indians, i'm pretty sure of. Do remember that for most women in
tribal cultures a menstral period is not an every 28 days occurance.
Pregnancy (which may have its own taboos) and Ammenorhea cosequent on
breastfeeding would have suppressed most fertile women's menses for much of
their lives.
