In response to the question about the disappeared costume archive... Jeni Allenby <firstname.lastname@example.org> wrote: From: Jeni Allenby Subject: from Palestine Costume Archive Date: Fri, 5 Dec 2003 18:18:21 +1100 To all those concerned about the Palestine Costume Archive's missing exhibition: For those of you wanting to write a letter re our lost exhibition here's an opportunity - email the general LAX airport email: Infoline@airports.ci.la.ca.us. OK its not brilliant, but at least it might raise awareness within LAX that this has happened, as we've been unable to get any response from them. We've deleted mention of the Archive because the bag's documents are all under my name, so perhaps the best way to put it would be to say you are writing because you are concerned over the loss of a Middle Eastern cultural exhibition that was to have been part of the MESA 2003 conference in Anchorage. The exhibition was being couriered by Jeni Allenby, who was in transit at LAX from QF107 to Alaska Airlines flight 585 and 891 to Anchorage via Seattle. It went missing on 1 November during or immediately after a security examination and X ray in the transit security area of LAX Terminal 4. Alaska Airlines confirms the bag never made it to their terminal. All the various numbers and details are below. If we can provide any further information for you, drop us a line. Good luck!
