Since it seems you can read German, you might want to look at Arno
Kloenne's book, _Jugend im Dritten Reich. Die Hitler-Jugend und
ihre Gegner_(Duesseldorf, 1982). I can't recall, however, how
thoroughly it deals with the war period. The bibliography should
be useful if nothing else. Peukert's _Inside Nazi Germany_ also
deals with the Hitler Youth, but may be of limited value to you if
you aren't injecting alot of social theory into your work.
Sincerely,

Try Arno Kloenne (much dated), the terrible book by Koch, for what it's
worth (seems to be the only modern source), Schirach's "memoirs," _Ich
glaubte an Hitler_, and the more recent book for your period by Rempel.
Good luck.
