To: H-NET List for Environmental History <H-ENVIRONMENT@H-NET.MSU.EDU> Subject: CFP: Idaho Yesterdays Environmental History Issue Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2006 16:52:27 +0000 CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Idaho Yesterdays Issue on Environmental History Idaho Yesterdays, the peer-reviewed historical journal of the Idaho State Historical Society, seeks scholarly articles for a special issue focused on the environmental history of Idaho, the Pacific Northwest, the Northern Rockies, and the Great Basin. The issue is scheduled for publication in conjunction with the 2008 meeting of the American Society for Environmental History, to be held in Boise. The journal welcomes articles and illustrative material between twenty and twenty-five pages. Well-documented photo essays are also welcome. Originality, quality of research, significance, regional relevance, and presentation are among the factors that determine acceptance for publication. The journal strives for a balance of quality illustrations and scholarly text. Idaho Yesterdays conforms to the current edition of the Chicago Manual of Style, published by the University of Chicago Press.
