There is indeed an abridged version of Heshang in English, manufactured by
the British I think. However, I would suggest that one watch the original
Chinese version first before using the abridged one. There are simply many
fine points and nuances in the Chinese version that the abridged one
misses. Watching the English version makes one feel like reading a
two-page summary of San Guo Yan Yi, without the benefit of catching the
Zeitgeist.
