Thanks for calling special attention to U. Va.'s virtual exhibit
catalog: "African Art: Aesthetics and Meaning."
(Was it the first on-line African art exhibit? I'm not sure.)
Here's two more U. Va. African art related URLs:

a link to Jack Permberton's outstanding exhibition "The
Artist's Eye, The Diviner's Insight." It's still somewhat in
progress, but well worth listing right now, as most of it is
