Hi, I am an Inst. Computer Coord. for Frederick County Public Schools, in Virginia. We have DigiCard servers hosting networks (with labs and distributed systems) in all our schools. The most units attached are in the mid 70's. Out systems will host up to 96 units. We have IIgs and IIe systems running through their menuing system and are very pleased. We also have some Mac's attached, however the is a bit more cumbersomein the use of the Mac's. The unit at one High School has 38 IIgs (25 in a lab the rest throughout the building) and 12 Mac Classics. The IIgs run a variety of instructional software and the Mac LCs have network supplied Word Perfect and desktop publishing programs. The network is connected through twisted pair and RJ-11 phone connectors. DigiCard claims a 3000' limit for each of the two D-Net lines. This network is reputed to be much faster than AppleTalk, and my experience is very postitive. If I can provide more information or more details please contact me. Good Luck...
