Position Announcement Educational Psychology: Assistant Professor, 9 month, Tenure Track. The Department of Educational Psychology has an opening in its innovative Instructional Psychology and Technology program for an individual with background and interest in developmental psychology applied to instructional issues. Required qualifications: earned doctorate in Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or related field with emphasis in human development; evidence of scholarly potential. Preferred qualifications: Evidence of interest in instructional issues; knowledge of both child and adolescent development; research experiences (e.g.,publications, presentations); experience teaching college level developmental courses in educational psychology; teaching experience: Preschool-12; grant writing experience; experience in program and/or curriculum development. Responsibilities: Conducting programmatic research and pursuing external funding; providing leadership in the design and delivery of developmental psychology curriculum for teacher education and graduate courses; supervising graduate teaching assistants in the developmental courses; providing service to the University and profession.
