I’m sorry to pass along the sad news that a dear friend and colleague
here at UNC, Deil Wright, passed away yesterday. I know that several
of you knew him well and thought you would want to know. Deil was not
only a superb scholar in our field, but he was also a wonderful,
delightful person.
