After, for lack of a better word, a bit of a slow period on HWAR threads like the ones on Irving and flamethrowers seem to have returned to the days of yore in terms of participation and content. Participation: some previously absent posters and participants have returned to the fray--welcome back. Content: broader and more textured. Bravo--to all, but the long-suffering editors should get some kudos, too. A pleasure reading HWAR these days. The next level. Is this pleasant development a cyclical phenomenon or is it all the bad weather here in the states that is keeping folks in? Warmly, John John T. Kuehn, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Military History Curriculum Developer Department of Military History U.S. Army Command and General Staff College Fort Leavenworth, KS ----- For subscription help, go to: http://www.h-net.org/lists/help/ To change your subscription settings, go to http://h-net.msu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=h-war -----
