In the years before WWII, aircraft manufacturers often designed and built airplanes for foreign powers, even if their own nation was not interested in acquiring the type, at least originally. The North American Mustang and PZL P.24 come to mind as examples. Notwithstanding licensed production (Indian MiGs, Japanese F-15s, Canadian F-104s, &c), have there been any examples of an aircraft manufacturer producing a warplane to a foreign (only) specification since 1945?
