Dear Friends and Fellow Historians, In addition to Dr. Rottman's analysis of French artillery employment and expenditure at Dien Bien Phu, for what it's worth, although it has been a while since I read it, I seem to recall in "Hell in a Very Small Place," Bernard Fall's assessment of the conduct and efficiency of the French Colonial (Moroccan) artillery battalion in that fight was none too praiseworthy.
