For an essay to be published later this year on a non-military subject, I'm looking for any recent scholarly studies of German WW II research and experimentation with biological, radiological, and chemical weapons. While the rocket program and the far less supported nuclear research program are well covered in the literature, I'm not seeing much on these other weapons categories, perhaps in part because they weren't assigned much priority (and in the case of biological weapons were, I believe, explicitly prohibited). I'm out of my areas of expertise here, although I can certainly detect the more sensationalistic kinds of accounts that online and bibliographical searches turn up. If list members can suggest some legitimate scholarship on the subject, it will be much appreciated. James J.
