I am reviewing the crash report for a B-24 than went down in California in 1945. The members of the crew of the aircraft are listed in the report. Next to their names are their positions/duties aboard the aircraft. Next to the names of two of the crew are the initials "RVO". One of the men is a 2nd Lieutenant, the other a Flight Officer. I believe that the "R" is for Radar or Radio, and the "O" for Operator. Does anyone know what 'RVO" stands for? Thanks, Bill WILLIAM L.
