I saw the film clip too. This was a scene from the HBO mini-series "Generation Kill." It was advertised as such. Besides the "exploding bullet" issue, there were other pieces of this clip which aren't realistic. Hollywood tries to do what it can but rarely gets it totally right and often needs to embellish things to make them more dramatic... Nothing new.
