Since no one else has mentioned it, my guess is that either Frode Lindgjerdet or his original Norwegian source misspelled the name of this "Cuzaux Effect." It must be the "Cazaux Effect" instead, because there is a French military installation by that name: Centre d'essais en vol (CEV) de Cazaux, which translates to "Cazaux Flight Test Center." One website describes it this way: "The Cazaux flight test centre is the largest European center for testing airborne armaments. The personnel at the Cazaux flight test center have all the expertise needed to develop, integrate and qualify airborne weapons systems." I could not find any references to a "Cazaux effect," but it must be the origin of this term. Jonathan Beard "Jonathan D.
