The University of Leicester is advertising a New Blood Lectureship in the Urban History of Modern China (post-1800). It is based in Leicester's world-renowned Centre for Urban History. The post is permanent and offers substantial time free of teaching and administration for research purposes during the first five years. The closing date is 26 November 2009.
