Christopher Miller <christopher.m.miller@gmail.com> The Newberry Library Urban History Dissertation Seminar is pleased to announce the schedule of dates and presentations for the upcoming year. The seminar is open to all advanced graduate students currently working on their dissertations. Its purpose is to create a collegial yet rigorous environment in which a chapter of a dissertation in progress receives constructive criticism. This is a monthly workshop in which graduate students studying urban history issues present to their peers works-in-progress from their dissertations. Papers are pre-circulated by e-mail and must be requested in advance. If you would like to attend, please contact Christopher Miller christopher.miller@marquette.edu The Seminar meets on the first Saturday of each month (except September, when we meet on the 11th) from 2-4pm at the Newberry Library in Chicago, IL.
