Best, Colette] The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) is pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for the 2005/2006 Conservation Guest Scholar program. Grants will be awarded to established scholars and professionals from conservation and allied fields to pursue independent scholarly research while in residence for three to nine months at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. With an emphasis on the visual arts (including sites, buildings, and objects), the program seeks to encourage new ideas and perspectives in areas of wide general interest to the conservation community. Conservation Guest Scholar benefits include airfare, housing, and a monthly stipend.
