Posted by Gina Dreistadt <gdreista@gmu.edu> PLANNED COMMUNITIES ARCHIVES I can provide a little more information on the Planned Community/Reston Archives. The physical archives are located in the George Mason University Fenwick Library in Fairfax, Virginia. The archives are kept by the University librarians and sponsored by the Planned Community Archives, Inc. Because I am working on a dissertation involving Reston, I have spent some time in the archives. Apparently they are fairly complete up until the early 1980s. There is more recent material that had not yet been organized and added to the database. There is also an updated web site: http://www.gmu.edu/library/specialcollections/plancomm.html Gina Dreistadt Cultural Studies Doctoral Student George Mason University
