Dear Colleagues, I am hoping to spend this coming summer in Istanbul for research; I will also bring with me my spouse and 2 sons, who will be almost 6 and 3. Can anyone recommend good summer camps and/or preschools, preferably English-speaking? How difficult is it to find a full-time but short-term nanny should the camp option not be possible, and what is the going salary? And, what would be the ideal neighborhood(s) to be in that would be family-friendly (close to parks, safe streets, etc) but also easily accessible to the Basbakanlik (in its new location? I seem to recall they are moving again)? Thank you in advance for any leads, suggestions, and resources you can offer on navigating Istanbul with small kids. This will be their first time in Turkey.
