Sent: Monday, November 12, 2012 9:17 AM Call for Papers on Modern Turkish History The Journal of Modern Turkish History (ÇTAD) invites scholars to submit papers on the history of Turkey for its upcoming issues. The 8–year-old journal, mainly publishing manuscripts in Turkish, henceforth welcomes articles written in English as well. The Journal of Modern Turkish History (ÇTAD) is a refereed academic journal published biannually by the Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History at Hacettepe University. The journal aims to bring together research on the social, political, economic and cultural history of modern Turkey, as well as her relations with the neighbouring countries, from the beginning of the Ottoman modernization in the 19th century in humanities and social sciences. Moreover it provides scholars an opportunity to introduce their arguments regardless of any restriction on their particular fields of interest and specialization. ÇTAD is indexed and abstracted by the MLA (Modern Language Association), EBSCO, Historical Abstracts, ProQuest and Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies http://www.ait.hacettepe.edu.tr/eng/akademik/dergi.shtml For manuscript submission: İdris Yücel, Ph.D History Editor, Journal of Modern Turkish History The Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History Hacettepe University +90312 297 6870 Beytepe-Ankara Tel: 0090 312 297 68 70 Fax: 0090 312 299 20 76 ctad.editor@gmail.com<mailto:ctad.editor@gmail.com>
