Dear list members, A colleague passed along the following question: "I am looking for information about the Turkish group Yucel (written as Judzel in South Slavic languages), which existed in Macedonia in the 1940s. Tito's government executed 17 members of the group in 1948 in a large public show trial, but there is nothing written about it in the Yugoslav scholarship. If anyone has any leads of primary or secondary sources on the organization, I would be grateful for the references." Please send any leads to Prof. Emily Greble at emilygreble@gmail.com. With many thanks, Lale Can Assistant Professor of History
