The program for the 2009 Tennessee Conference of Historians is now available at http://www.cumberland.edu/tch. Pre-registration is available at the same website. The conference will meet on the campus of Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, on 25-26 September 2009. The opening reception will be held on Friday evening, with a roundtable discussion of recent research on Andrew Jackson to follow. On Saturday, the keynote speaker will be Dr. Mark M. Smith, the Carolina Distinguished Professor of History at the University of South Carolina.
