Sent: 08 January 2014 15:03 Subject: looking for suggestions for an intro comparative politics book Hi all: I am looking for title suggestions for a brief book that introduces students to comparative politics. I want to use it in a research methods class next fall. I am not looking for textbook suggestions. Instead, for those of you familiar with the old Bill and Hardgrave, Comparative Politics: The Quest for Theory, I am looking for something similar to that. The Bill and Hardgrave book was a terrific book but it long out of print and outdated. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. -- David Schultz, Professor Editor, Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE) Hamline University Department of Political Science 1536 Hewitt Ave MS B 1805 St. Paul, Minnesota 55104 651.523.2858 (voice) 651.523.3170 (fax) http://davidschultz.efoliomn.com/ http://works.bepress.com/david_schultz/ http://schultzstake.blogspot.com/ Twitter: @ProfDSchultz My latest book: Election Law and Democratic Theory, Ashgate Publishing http://www.ashgate.com/isbn/9780754675433 FacultyRow SuperProfessor, 2012, 2013 -- --
