Sent: 17 June 2009 22:20 Subject: PSE query from a member Colleagues: I am forwarding a request from a member for help. Please respond directly to Steve, any ideas or suggestions. Although Intro US Government is a staple of my course rotation, this fall, for the first time, I'll be teaching a section that meets once a week for three consecutive hours (and, moreover, will consist entirely of non-majors taking the course to meet a general education requirement). I'd be interested in hearing about the pedagogical approaches taken by other folks who have had to teach the course in this challenging format (as opposed to the more conventional one where the course meets several times a week for a shorter period of time). Please reply either on-list or off-list (smiths@winthrop.edu), whichever is more convenient. Thanks. ---Steve Smith
