Dear H-TAH Colleagues - We're pleased to announce that Dr. Bruce VanSledright has accepted our invitation to be our keynote speaker at the 2010 TAH Symposium to be held 7 April in conjunction with the annual OAH meeting. He will be offering his unique perspective on evaluating TAH grants so that we can continue to discuss this issue vital to the sustainability (continued congressional funding!) of Teaching American History grants. Because of budgetary and scheduling issues, this year's event will be a half-day of audience-centered activities held the morning before OAH sessions start that same afternoon. As of now, we are set to have registration and breakfast at 7:30 and start our formal activities at 8am on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. As we continue to round up sponsorships and exhibitors, we will finalize all of the event details. Please consult the OAH program for more information as it becomes available: http://meetings.oah.org/index.php/sessions/90-10tah As in previous years, the expert staff for the OAH in Bloomington will handle all of the logistical details, including registration and hotel accommodations. We couldn't do it without them! If you are interested in exhibiting and/or sponsoring any part of the TAH Symposium, please contact Jason Groth at the OAH by emailing him at jason@oah.org Hope to see you there!
