Joseph Tudeley was the example given, so I naturally responded about Tudeley. However, I don't think messages ding-donging backwards and forwards between "I don't think they're often appropriate to the space" and "they are the most profoundly moving works of art I will ever know" will achieve anything because they are not addressing the same issue, and whether or not Chagall thought Jesus was an OK bloke should have no relevance to the window. But the bottom line is Chagall's windows (not his paintings, mind you) are not that interesting to me. So, as I said, I'm done. Rona --
