Hello H-Scholars,

Traffic has been slow this month, with only a few posts interrupting the
steady flow of announcements.  I'd like to return to a question  Shauna
Downing raised on November 4.  Shauna wrote "I want to set up a research
center for disabled issues. Do I put my center at a college to have the
support I need or go on my own?"

Do any list subscribers have experience with disabled issues?  What can
you tell us about existing research centers devoted to these issues?
Where and how should Shauna begin to realize her ambitious goal?
