I have a proposal for a paper entitled "Church conflict and reform movements in mid- nineteenth century St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and Calais, Maine" . It could fit within a panel on any of the following themes: religion, antislavery, temperance, Maine, or the northeastern American borderlands. As this might fit with more than one recent posting by others searching for co-panellists, I have directed this to list, and invite anyone interested in a joint proposal to contact me at <hlane@mta.ca> for a more detailed abstract.
