Sent: 8 February 2014 <firstname.lastname@example.org> Applications are now open for the two-week 2014 LSE-UCT July School in Cape Town, run by LSE and the University of Cape Town from 30 June-11 July. The programme's ten courses enable participants to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by Africa today from a range of social science perspectives, including economics, media, development and politics. All courses are taught by outstanding faculty members from one or both of LSE and UCT, and bring together university students and graduate professionals from around the world. A limited number of bursaries are available for African nationals. The programme was a great success in 2013, attended by 99 participants from 26 countries with 100% of the participants saying both that their course was interesting, and that they would recommend the July School.
