Sent: 5 February 2014 APN@ssrc.org cross-posted from H-Africa The African Peacebuilding Network (APN) of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) has extended its deadline to accept proposals for the following two research initiatives: 1) Residential Postdoctoral Fellowships<http://www.ssrc.org/fellowships/residential-postdoctoral-fellowships/>, and 2) Individual Research Grants<http://www.ssrc.org/fellowships/apn-research-grants/>. NEW APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 7, 2014 Apply Now<http://soap.ssrc.org/> Launched in 2012, the APN supports independent African research on conflict-affected countries and neighboring regions of the continent, as well as the integration of African knowledge into global policy communities. These awards are open to scholars and practitioners from multidisciplinary backgrounds. Individuals that choose to apply for these programs must be based in African universities, research organizations, and/or policy and practitioner institutions.
