A significant number of list members contacted me off-list, voicing their desire that I report my final "findings" about Research Paper/Project Rubrics for Rhetorical Traditions and Rhetorical Criticism course assessment. . . . sent to me by fellow list-members. So far there has been little response. I'll be happy to report findings, although I may need advice about the best mode for doing that on a list [assuming that I get more responses], since the request implies multiple attachments, etc. Thus far, I've received: * one example of a detailed course description; * one example of a Portfolio rubric and an offer to send other rubrics, and possibly "large scale curricular" materials; I've reframed my request below for those who missed the first "call" and who may be willing to contribute further rubric examples: As part of Our Communication Division's Major Review, we are gathering together examples/models of Rubrics designed to assess Semester Research Papers in History of Rhetoric (Rhetorical Traditions) and Rhetorical Criticism courses. If you have Rubrics you'd be willing to share [along with course objectives], reply to me off-line at sreagles@blc.edu. It is common knowledge that there are a number of general rubric sites available, for example; http://www.winona.edu/AIR/rubrics.htm -- Steve Reagles Steven L.
