After completing an undergraduate degree in history at the University of Connecticut - Storrs, I searched for a field of tangible historical research and found the Public History program at CCSU. I've successfully completed the Public History seminar at the university and am currently enrolled in the "Introduction to the Professional Historian" seminar. This current coursework works alongside the CCSU efforts to produce Connecticut Civil War history that coincides with the national sesquincentennial. My personal focus is the effect of the Militia and Enrollment acts on Connecticut politics and economy. Recently, this site has been recommended as a source for relevant information and research available through a network of professional public historians who may share similar projects or helpful knowledge. -- H-Public To post to the list: H-PUBLIC@h-net.msu.edu Home page: www.h-net.org/~public sponsored by the National Council on Public History (www.ncph.org)
