Dear List Folks, I am calling on your wisdom, individual and collective. A colleague of mine is a theater professional who has been teaching courses in feminist theater. She has been asked to teach such a course under the rubric of popular culture studies. She says she can't do it because she doesn't know how to teach popular culture. I told her would ask this list for advice and suggestions. So I'm asking. Please send your thoughts, advice, and suggestions for things she can read to "teach" her to teach popular culture to the list and I will forward everything to her.
