Ok I will start I am writing my thesis on this subject. My time frame and specific group of women are the 77 military women held as POWs by the Japanese in the Philippines. I am comparing their oral histories to film and written media, from the same time. My films include So Proudly We Hail! and They Were Expendable. I can not find a copy of Cry Havoc!. I have a love / hate relationship with So Proudly We Hail!......
