Hi everyone, Next week I'm giving a course lecture on gender in World War II. The class is an intro to world history survey, with a focus on WW2. The assigned reading for the lecture includes: Berube. Coming Out Under Fire: The History of Gay Men and Women in World War Two. (selection) Campbell. "Women in Combat." (US, Germany, Great Britain, Soviet Union coverage) Hicks. "The Comfort Women." (Japan's enforced prostitution during the war) I have plenty of access to US-related visual materials that I plan to use for the lecture. However, I thought I'd see if anyone on H-Minerva might recommend particular online sources for visual images that might relate to the non-US portions mentioned above. Thanks, tanya -- Tanya L.
