A soldier from Colonie has become the first woman from the Capital Region to die in the Iraq or Afghanistan conflicts, according to family members. Staff Sgt. Amy Seyboth Tirador, 29, died from non-combat-related injuries in Iraq on Wednesday, her father, Gerard Seyboth, said in an interview Thursday.
