The Media Arabic Webclass: Dive into Al-Jazeera and Co.

The Oriental Institute offers an intensive course to meet the needs of
PhD students, scholars, diplomats, lawyers, etc. with a sound
theoretical knowledge of Standard Arabic, but no time to follow
conventional language training. In this webclass, we will improve your
listening comprehension of daily news and talk shows on Arabic TV and
radio channels. A more specific focus might be defined on demand.

Mode: 2 times a week, 45 minutes, in a small group, online. Lessons
will be progressive.

Lecturer: Dr.des. Eva Grob

Duration: 14 weeks, spring semester 2010: 22nd of February, 2010–5th
of June, 2010

Teaching language: English or German, as you wish.

Certificate: Certificate of participation

Participants: PhD students, scholars, diplomats, lawyers etc. with a
sound theoretical knowledge of Standard Arabic. Your command of Arabic
will be assessed in a preparatory online meeting.
