To: tanfer.emin@gmail.com The forthcoming Encyclopedia of American Reform Movements (Facts on File Publishers) is described in detail on its website at www.americanreformmovements.com Each of the 20 chapters will have a 3-5,000 introduction that will describe the general history of a particular reform movement. We are currently searching for an author for the introduction to the chapter on Healthcare Reform in the United States. This introduction should include: Controversial issues in assessing the impact of healthcare reform efforts 10-15 suggested readings A brief introduction of the topics being explored in each of the chapter's 15 individual entries The editors will provide the introduction's author with the copyedited and accepted entries for review. The deadline for the introduction is March 1, 2010, at the latest. Facts on File generally pays an honorarium of $250 for entries in this category.
