Very interesting! Last fall Harcourt Fuller (LSE) gave an interesting
talk here at Boston University on Ghanaian currencies and postage
stamps in the Nkrumah era. One of his slides featured the five pound
note, which had 5 pounds written in Hausa Ajami.
