Call for Papers: German Studies Association Conference Panel,  October
7-10 2010

Panel Title: "The Wehrmacht and the Holocaust"

Submission Deadline: 1 January 2010

Organizer: Waitman W. Beorn, UNC-Chapel Hill

This panel explores the participation of the German military broadly
defined
in Nazi genocide and violence.  Papers can cover Waffen-SS, SS, Police,
Army, Navy, Luftwaffe, etc.  Some areas of consideration include:
participation/assistance in killing, policy assistance at any level,
antisemitism, violence against women or any racial minorities, post-war
justice, regional studies, etc.

Please submit a proposal (no longer than 1 page) along with a CV
to <waitman.beorn[at]gmail.com> by 1 January 2010 for consideration.
