Hello - I am seeking suggestions for good qualitative methods texts that give guidance on how to conduct interviews about race. I will be starting a project in which I interview immigrants about race in America. I would like to understand how the migration experience has affected their own sense of ethno-racial identities, their attitudes towards other groups in American society, and their perceptions of race in their receiving countries. Talking about race can be tricky, and this will be my first time doing this kind of work. It would be grateful for any suggestions of good books or articles. Many thanks, Anjanette M.
