Inquiry about courses offered on the history of immigration to the United States The question: are courses on the history of immigration to the United States offered commonly at American universities and colleges? I distinguish this course from those focused on a particular ethnic group or only on ethnicity and race, though a broad immigration history courses would include these themes. Perhaps one of you knows of a definitive survey or study that answers this query, and I hope such is the case. That failing, I would very much like to know what your knowledge is in the universities and colleges with which you are familiar: is a course like this regularly offered, or not? If you would rather reply to me directly, please do so: brian@asu.edu Thanks in advance, Brian Gratton Professor of History, Arizona State University --30--
