The Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation awards a limited number of Moody Research Grants for research at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library semi-annually. Grants may be used for research for dissertations, theses, senior papers, publications, and other projects. Grant periods are June 1 through December 31 for the fall term and January 1 through August 31 for the spring term. Grant applications for the fall term must be received by March 15; recipients will be notified by early May. Grant applications for the spring term must be received by September 15; recipients will be notified by the end of November. Funds are awarded for the sole purpose of helping to defray living, travel, and related expenses incurred while conducting research at the LBJ Library during the period for which the grant is awarded. Grants range from $500 to $2,500.
